The Sierra product manager will provide a quick tour of the exciting new features recently released in Sierra 6.5 (November 2025). Sierra 6.5 is packed with enhancements that streamline staff workflows, boost productivity, and elevate the user experience.
Highlights of Sierra 6.5 include:
- Patron checkout limits by item type, item location, and library location
- Open and edit patron record from an item record
- Admin Corner features available in the Admin App and Sierra staff clients
- Navigation from Create Lists to Delete Records
- Updating Inventory Dates from Check-in
- Limiting access to patron data in Create Lists
Library staff will also notice a new look and accessibility improvements in the Sierra clients and multiple user interfaces.
